Theme of Colours

The son of Shiva and Parvati, Ganesha has an elephantine countenance with a curved trunk and big ears, and a huge pot-bellied body of a human being. He is the Lord of success and destroyer of evils and obstacles. He is also worshiped as the god of education, knowledge, wisdom and wealth. This God of knowledge and the remover of obstacles is also the older son of Lord Shiva. Lord Ganesha is also called Vinayak ( knowledgeable ) or Vighneshwer (god to remove obstacles). He is worshipped, or at least remembered, in the beginning of any auspicious performance for blessings and auspiciousness.

This is the varli painting that shows a village where its people are enjoying the celebration in their free time. They are dancing with joy. The birds and animals are also very blithesome.

On the way, Krishna saw them coming and started breaking their pots and teased them. The gopis got angry but, after Lord Krishna played his flute, their anger got cooled and they started listening to him.   In the early stage of his life, Sri Krishna is also often depicted playing the flute for his beloved gopis – female devotees. As the heart throb of Gopis and Gopas, as the herder of cows, as the divine flute player on the banks of Yamuna, as the lover of Sri Radha and as the protector and source of pleasure of all Vrajavasis - As the son of Nanda and Yashoda, as the killer of various demons - He is the most perfect in His most original form of Vrindavan or Gokul.

The peacocks are dancing, the fishes are swimming peacefully and the birds are chirping sweetly.    In the V aishanava devotional o f bhakti traditions of H induism that focus on Krishna, Radha is the incarnation of "the feeling of love towards krishna". For some of the adherents of these traditions, her importance approaches or even exceeds that of Krishna. She is considered to be his original Shakt i or power.
