GODDESS KALI

The love between the Divine Mother and her human children is a unique relationship. Kali, the Dark Mother is one such deity with whom devotees have a very loving and intimate bond, in spite of her fearful appearance. In this relationship, the worshipper becomes a child and Kali assumes the form of the ever-caring mother. Kali's guises and names are diverse. Shyama, Adya Ma, Tara Ma and Dakshina Kalika, Chamundi are popular forms.Kali's fierce form is strewed with awesome symbols. Her black complexion symbolizes her all-embracing and transcendental nature.

This God of knowledge and the remover of obstacles is also the older son of Lord Shiva. Lord Ganesha is also called Vinayak ( knowledgeable ) or Vighneshwer (god to remove obstacles). KRISHNA WITH GOPIS

इसमें कृष्णलीला मधुबनी चित्रकला दवारा प्रदर्शित की गई है।  In this picture, Lord Krishna is teasing some of the gopi s , who are just coming from the river. On the way, Krishna saw them coming and started breaking their pots and teased them. The gopis got angry but, after Lord Krishna played his flute, their anger got cooled and they started listening to him.   In the early stage of his life, Sri Krishna is also often depicted playing the flute for his beloved gopis – female devotees. As the heart throb of Gopis and Gopas, as the herder of cows, as the divine flute player on the banks of Yamuna, as the lover of Sri Radha and as the protector and source of pleasure of all Vrajavasis - As the son of Nanda and Yashoda, as the killer of various demons - He is the most perfect in His most original form of Vrindavan or Gokul.

WAITING FOR SOMEONE.....

बसंत ऋतु में अपने प्रिय का इंतजार करती स्त्री  In this picture, Radha is waiting eagerly for Krishna. The nature is very pleasant and beautiful. The birds and animals are also on their own way. The peacocks are dancing, the fishes are swimming peacefully and the birds are chirping sweetly.    In the V aishanava devotional o f bhakti traditions of H induism that focus on Krishna, Radha is the incarnation of "the feeling of love towards krishna". For some of the adherents of these traditions, her importance approaches or even exceeds that of Krishna. She is considered to be his original Shakt i or power.
